Verónica Moreira Batista Pinheiro, born in Valongo, Portugal , on the 19th of Abril, 1989.

​Attended Escola Artística e Profissional Árvore (EAPA) between 2005 and 2008. Later graduated from Escola de Moda do Porto, with the Technical and Professional Course of Fashion Design. During this formation, Verónica has the first contact with photography, developing an interest in the area.



In 2010 started attending the Professional Photography Course at the Instituto Português de Fotografia do Porto, having concluded it in March 2012. She then got a four month long curricular internship at Global Imagens, during which she had two of her photographs on the cover of Jornal de Notícias and several other photographs published in different newspapers. The internship provides her with a wide range of different experiences in the area of photojournalism, such as politics, press conferences, accident and crime scenes, music concerts, portraits, etc. Adding to her educational background, she also has many of her photographs published in national photography magazines, namely DP Arte Fotográfica and Super Foto Prática.

Verónica has also worked with two photography shops in her area of residence, gaining experience in ceremony photography, studio photography and pagination of photo albums.
